The Dojo is...

  • A place for teams and individuals to learn, grow, and experiment
  • An environment in which everyone is free to express their opinions and ideas
  • Somewhere teams can explore new ways of working

The Dojo is not a place where teams go to have their performance and competence evaluated or where managers identify the "weakest links".

The Coaches will...

  • Accommodate individual learning goals to enhance the Dojo experience though patience and empathy
  • Prioritize team and individual learning over deadlines
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations on best practices and technologies

The Coaches will not evaluate individuals for the purpose of promotion, demotion, or dismissal or report to managers at any level concerning the progress of individuals. We will not take ownership or make decisions concerning the work.
